Wetlands in Morden Hall Park

Woke up late after last night’s Ska fun @ Dex, so looked for a shortish walk we could do before the winter sun set. We took the Northern line right to the very end, to Morden, then walked around and about Morden Hall Park, saw the Growing Garden Project, budgies, llamas and a peacock at Deen City Farm, then continued along the Wandle trail, over a tram track, through Merton Abbey Mills with it’s waterwheel powered pottery and soon to be wind powered theatre, then back home via Colliers Wood tube… phew! Can highly recommend the route – it’s only short but tons of stuff to see and do.
