People interacting with SLWA’s Pillow Talk project

It was a busy evening for the South London Women Artists’ project Pillow Talk. It was being exhibited as part of the Uniqlo Tate Lates in February 2018.

Pillows made by over fifty artists were on display and available for the public to interact with, as well as specific texts from the Women’s Art Library that had been chosen by the curators.

Some of the less ‘squishy’ work was photographed and re-printed directly on to pillow covers for this iteration of the project.

I was pleased that so many people chose to interact with my work, Take one, leave one, but it ran out of cards! Next time, I will print more and look at simplifying it to give more people a chance to have a go.
