The Actionettes are...

The Actionettes are London's original 60s dance troupe, performing synchronised routines to girl groups as well as Lulu, Nancy and Dusty. Established in 2000, The Actionettes have performed along side 60s legends Arthur Lee and Love, and The Action, as well as at the 100 Club, the BFI, the Tate Gallery, V&A, the Design Museum, Brixton Academy as well as countless other venues in the UK and abroad. They have also choreographed and performed in 60s-based film Made in Dagenham, on Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe, in the BBC's Primary Dance series as well as appearing in schlock horror film, Stitchgirl. The Actionettes also starred in the video for the recent hit single Boo Shuffle by The Pipettes.

Fiesty, friendly, fun and fiercely anti-conformist, The Actionettes manage to cause a stir wherever they go, with their unique style, infectious enthusiasm, high-octane performances and general joie de vivre.

Presenting... Miss Balconette, Cassette, Castanette, Corvette, Kitschenette, Luncheonette, Ringlette, Scarlette, Silhouette, Starlette, Twinsette & Velvelette!

"Your dancing and outfits and general joie de vivre were exactly what we knew only the Actionettes could deliver " (Unskinny Bop)

"An Actionettes' event is part gig, part party. The fourth wall between those on stage and off it is removed" (SoundsXP)

"With each shake of the hips, the smiles get wider"
(The Independent)

Fantastic fun; great moves!"
(Jarvis Cocker)
