New Year – New Teapot… Mum gave this to me for Christmas and I have to say it makes drinking tea a real joy… It almost feels like a tea-handbag as I carry it about from room to room; the tea following me around :)

Ok, I cheated somewhat as my actual birthday isn’t til tuesday but… Sundays are good for birthday teas… It was going to be in picnic form but what with the drought rain, it was safer indoors… :) My first ever attempt at a Victoria Sponge and Brownies came out pretty well (they all got eaten!) ...
