she’s finished!…
It’s still too warm to be wearing anything this wooly, but will be good for the trip to the Peak district in November…

Needles: suggested - 6 & 5mm, actual - 5 & 4mm

Almost finished…
Just need to sew up the sleeves / body and add the buttons. Again, it fits… bit only just!
Will take a pic when it’s finished and see what you think… May have to add to the cuffs to lengthen the arms (even though I already made them longer than the pattern suggests)
Going on the Colinette yarn frenzy last year was fun, but is taken me until now to make any headway into the yarn we bought! This cardi is in Colinette Prism in Mint Chocolate – it does have a more brown hue than in these purple-y photos but not that much more… I am always surprised how much the colouring of a yarn changes from hank, to when it’s wound and then to when it’s knitted…
I’m kind of more fond of the reverse side so far (although the moss stitch edging doesn’t stand out so much this way around…) hmmm
