plasticine
The latest sections in AW are getting more and more relevant for me… not least the chapter about having lists and lists of things to do, but not adding in any fun stuff or playing… it gets pushed to the bottom of the pile, after work, admin, household stuff…. ah yeah, *then* I can do ...
treats
lemon curd from A Gold, a Farrah’s original harrowgate toffee tin, lunch with friends, poem for the day book, blue skies and sunshine, amazing vegetarian food after my cousin’s baptism (so far in north London it fell off my mini A to Z!), dancing with the actionettes (and can-can girls!) at the Cafe de Paris, ...
wishes…
So this week was a bit about wishes and I kept coming accross things that were wish related… dropping pennies into a fountain to hope a wish comes true, wishing on a star, Christmas wishes, blowing out birthday cake candles and making a wish, even wishing when you find an eyelash on your cheek! But ...
No reading?!?
week 4: no reading Well, hell you may as well say no breathing…! This is the typical reaction apparently, and not surprising as it knocks on the head not only *nice* reading like novels, magazines, blogs etc, but email, schoolbooks, work papers etc… Plus TV & radio! umm… After reading the chapter and thinking about ...
Yip!
I’m not sure I’m ‘recovering*’ anything, but I sure as anything am getting things done! Maybe ‘uncovering’, or spring cleaning (a bit early) but whatever it is it’s good. Tax return sent in (urgh!), Work proposal in (phew!) Theatre tickets booked (yay!), photos put onto flickr of the things I had in the Banjo Artshow ...

It becomes easier to do, than it does *not* to do…
:) I like that idea… One of the exercises last week was to make a note of those people who’d inspired you (hero/ines in AW talk…) One of these was a visiting lecturer from the States who did a workshop at Camberwell. We were all a bit ‘cool’ graphics students, liking our own specific ways ...
those morning pages…
So as part of this K.S.J story and doing the project as a whole bunch of people… one of the things we are doing are morning pages. Kind of like an enforced diary where there is no crossing out, no pressure for it to even be legible and god forbid, we actually read it back! ...
Kick start January?
Came across this project today – seems like a good idea to kick start January (and, luckily enough, starts today!). I know M laughed when I read GTD, but really a couple of the ways of thinking in that book really helped and manage my ‘so many things to do, not enough time’ cries… well… ...
