The diamond shapes in ‘The Enterprise’ are actually pieces of mirror so it sparkles very nicely in the sunshine. The Enterprise (as well as being a nice pub) was “19th century sailing ship that travelled to the Arctic in search of the missing explorer Sir John Franklin in 1852″ (From the artist, Tessa Hunkin’s, website).

I wonder if she is related to the engineer / cartoonist, Tim Hunkin? I noticed she also works with light / electronics as well as doing mosaics.
