This is the second thing I’ve altered since reading the ‘Altered States’ feature in Bust (lovely illo by Mr Werewolf). One of the things it tells you about is how to just *cut straight across a zip*. I was shocked – surely it can’t be that easy? I had a dress that was waiting to be made into a skirt, but the zip went up too high, and a dress that was waiting to be made into a top (photo on the left) that had a zip that went too low… and all had to do was just cut straight across it? Wow… the secrets of sewing never cease to amaze… :)
