Walking along the Chiltern Way
Some new pics online of walks in January – alongside the Thames from Hampton Court and a bit of the Chiltern Way from Amersham to Chalfont St Giles…
No reading?!?
week 4: no reading Well, hell you may as well say no breathing…! This is the typical reaction apparently, and not surprising as it knocks on the head not only *nice* reading like novels, magazines, blogs etc, but email, schoolbooks, work papers etc… Plus TV & radio! umm… After reading the chapter and thinking about ...
Yip!
I’m not sure I’m ‘recovering*’ anything, but I sure as anything am getting things done! Maybe ‘uncovering’, or spring cleaning (a bit early) but whatever it is it’s good. Tax return sent in (urgh!), Work proposal in (phew!) Theatre tickets booked (yay!), photos put onto flickr of the things I had in the Banjo Artshow ...
Mountains and blue sky
As part of my artist date, I went to the London Graphics Centre and stocked up a few new paintbrushes, paints and things… The lovely boxes of Caran D’ache’s Prismalos beckoned with their mountain views and blue skies… I resisted til at least all the tax is paid this year but it has got me ...

:) I like that idea… One of the exercises last week was to make a note of those people who’d inspired you (hero/ines in AW talk…) One of these was a visiting lecturer from the States who did a workshop at Camberwell. We were all a bit ‘cool’ graphics students, liking our own specific ways ...
I see you…
I forgot to post up these great little eyes! T gave them to me for Christmas… I think it’s cos we were talking about KS’s photos of anthropomorphised stuff she’d done with stickers…
Colinette – at last!
Going on the Colinette yarn frenzy last year was fun, but is taken me until now to make any headway into the yarn we bought! This cardi is in Colinette Prism in Mint Chocolate – it does have a more brown hue than in these purple-y photos but not that much more… I am always ...
more diamonds..!
Cyd is coming along nicely – am now doing projects for me again…! this and Melinda using the Colinette Prism we bought in Wales…
